You don't get the benefit of the doubt when you build an awful roster and then stumble into a QB.  There are still people here who think Macc got fired undeservedly over that.

Keep repeating it over and over, it doesn't make it true.  His legacy is building a dreadful roster over a 5-year period and never getting a significant job in the league again.

Let’s see what people say 10 years from now when we have 3 Lombardi trophies.

Bowles will be a distant memory and people will still talk about Mac.

Sorry, you’re wrong.

lol no one cares which fired GM drafted a successful QB.  Which GM drafted Dan Marino?  Drew Brees?  Brett Favre?  Warren Moon?  Randall Cunningham?

And even fewer people care about a failed coach.

EVERYONE knows who drafted Peyton Manning.

Everyone will remember who drafted Sam Darnold. Stumbled, lucked, whatever.

You can win this. Let it go.

Bowles and it's not close, Bowles had a playoff roster year 1 and failed.  Macc left a playoff caliber roster this year, while overall macc wasn't very good he at least did some good things like get us Sam.  Bowles was a disaster, a modern day Kotite.

This is why we can't have nice things.

Oh, so it's MY fault...???!

I mean, sure, they could have fired him anytime, if it's based solely on the record. But then why would you let him run your entire offseason--including participating in the head coach hiring process--if you're not satisfied with his performance?

I admit, I don't pay nearly as much attention to these things as most of you...I'm not a true masochist after all. Well, I am a Jets, Mets, and Knicks fan, so...
