Jetlife33
Free agent DT Mike Daniels said in an interview with Sirius XM NFL Radio that teams have shown “soft interest” in him, due in part to the fact that they can’t bring him in for a medical evaluation. “There’s been a decent amount of interest,” Daniels said. “There’s been soft interest. As in, teams like you but they can’t bring you in and let their doctors check you out.” Daniels did say he would “love” to re-sign with the Packers if that were a possibility. Jetlife33
The Seahawks don’t seem interested in re-signing Jadeveon Clowney and it could be a while before the edge rusher joins any NFL team. Jay Glazer of The Athletic hears that the free agent defensive end wants to wait a while – “perhaps as late as the summer” – before signing. Jetlife33
Clowney isn’t the only notable vet willing to wait for the right deal. Former Panthers quarterback Cam Newton is also said to be sitting tight, though he’s opening up to the idea of serving as someone’s backup in 2020. Why bother with all the pre-training camp stuff? Wait and see how things play out with COVID then join a team. In Cam's case he might even want to wait and see if a team's starting QB gets hurt. The Titans have been heavily connected to Jadeveon Clowney, but we haven’t heard much on that front in recent days. When head coach Mike Vrabel was asked the edge rusher on Thursday, he indicated that nothing is imminent.

If the Titans didn't have the cap space to bring back Logan Ryan I don't really understand why they'd be able to sign Clowney. They already spent $9.5M on a 1-year deal for Vic Beasley earlier in the offseason.

Jetlife33
Ralph Vacchiano reports that while the Jets are interested in free agent CB Logan Ryan, the team needs his asking price to go down and they have not made him a formal offer. Vacchiano adds that Ryan’s representatives are going out of their way to make it seem like he’s going to sign with the Jets. This could be in order to drive up his market or motivate other interested teams to make him an offer. According to Vacchiano, the Jets aren’t interested in signing former Patriots K Stephen Gostkowski, and it will likely be K Sam Fickenand K Brett Maher battling for the job in 2020. Vacchiano doesn’t think the Jets will “prioritize” signing free agent GLarry Warford and notes that GM Joe Douglas likely feels that the offensive line is already set for 2020 or wants to remain fiscally responsible. As for a player the Jets should sign, Vacchiano mentions edge rusher Jadeveon Clowney, who is the most impactful free agent at a position of need for the Jets. Vacchiano says that if Clowney’s price comes to around $10 million on a one-year deal, it could make sense for New York.

Nice post about each FA status, I am not all in on the Logan Ryan train to be honest. If we can get Clowney for $10-12M on a one year I would do that deal!
