Jets Sign 2 Cut Ballentine and place Lawson On IR

San Francisco 49ers

On December 16, 2020, Williams was signed to the San Francisco 49ers practice squad. He was elevated to the active roster on December 19 and January 2, 2021, for the team's weeks 15 and 17 games against the Dallas Cowboys and Seattle Seahawks, and reverted to the practice squad after each game. He signed a reserve/future contract on January 4, 2021.Williams was waived by the 49ers on August 10, 2021.

Adeoye played college basketball for Ball State, John A. Logan College, Western Kentucky, and Southeast Missouri State. He switched to football in his fifth season of college eligibility for the Southeast Missouri State Redhawks football team.

Jets are down a player from each of those positions after Saturday

…and these guys are better than what we have? I hope not. ?

How are we looking at CB and Kick Off returner? All good there I suppose.

Like I said, nothing more than churning the bottom of the roster.

Isaiah Williams 6'3", 290 from San Francisco

 

 

I think Ballentine was injured on that long return. May be related to that.
