TheNuuFaaolaExperience
I'm not a fan of the black alternate in any variation, but I would have preferred the Namath/Parcells era uniform in black if there has to be one. Other than that, I am totally on board with the Sack Exchange era uniforms. Classic and clean. It looks like an adult NFL uniform. The further we get from the stench of the Chris Johnson/JB Smooth uniforms, the better.

Woody met with Nike and kept changing his mind (and liked the old uniforms and wasn’t sold on changing) then once he got the ambassador job he wasn’t involved and the Jets went with the last ones Nike drew up It’s amazing what you take from what’s written. Because nothing says this.

Other than the 9’rs didn’t have numbers on their shoulders, have three stripes on their sleeves, have stripes on their socks and have colored pants. It discussed Johnson wanting the uniforms to look cool and trying to decide how you judge cool. He wanted something as good as the Parcells uniform but different. But you turned it something different and decided when he left for the UK he just didn’t care and said F’ it. You continue to just make things up

Or did even that have to go through a bit of negotiation? Andrich: That one was unchanged from what we showed to him. Then it got down to deciding what the four colorways were going to be — or if not four, then three — and would they have a Color Rush? But you know what? It was around this time that he left, because he got that ambassadorship. We weren’t talking to him anymore, he wasn’t on any phone calls. We didn’t know who was making the decisions for the Jets about the uniform at that point. It could have been him. But he stopped being a presence at that point. And that actually helped to get the project finished, because it ended all the back and forth.

Yeah, all things Jets were in the hands of Chris, that’s not WJ saying F’ it just give us whatever Nike likes. Or he liked what he saw and signed off on them as it says. Just not what you claim happened.

Also whose idea was it to put orange vehicle warning triangles - like a hybrid between the symbols for a slow moving vehicle and for a disabled stationary vehicle - on their helmets? But there's lots of them, so one for every member of the team, coaching staff, etc. Allegedly it's supposed to symbolize mountains on a map, because mile high / Rockies, but no one is going to think that by looking at lots of little orange triangles arranged in a grid-like regular pattern in some meshing of a one-way arrow and archery-arrow fletching. Talk about overthinking an idea that was dumb from the outset.
