Jetpain Posted May 28 Share Posted May 28 This ramp up to an earlier camp will be the bridge to an earlier start off the season, an additional game or 2, and probably an additional bye or 2 so they can let the guys "heal" It will be all about the safety of the players lol when ultimately its about the additional revenues they can extract from everyone's pocket And the players and league dont give a rats ass about the coaches or front office peoples lost family time. From what I've read, it sounds like the NFL wants to buy a piece of ESPN which will give them a place to put their original content without having to fill three-quarters of the day with reruns and re-airing old games. I'm fine with that. 18 games, 2 byes and always schedule the Super Bowl on President's Day weekend.
