I am rarely anti-coach but Saleh has proven time and time again he can’t get teams ready

10 days to play a bad team at home and you get beat.  Just an awful, awful performance.

Games like this happen in the NFL but they happen all the time to Saleh.  Undisciplined, underperforming garbage.

I’d honestly fire him tomorrow.  There is nothing that will change.  Too many times to think he will magically get it together.  Fire him and Hackett and see what kind of spark it can bring.

Not even kidding I would hire Gruden (or maybe Vrabel) and send him to London. I don't know how many times you need to see the same exact damn thing from Saleh, to realize he looks like he's playing with play-doh and eating crayons. He's a fine DC and cheerleader... nothing more. Not remotely a tactician and somehow seems completely clueless when it comes to game plan, adjustment, player strengths, on and on... I just dont understand it. How can he be so gifted w the Defense, but be so fkn inept at basically EVERYTHING else?! And I'm starting to think maybe AR DID push him away like, GTFO fugaz... knowing this guy is on some preschool shlt and thinks "the vibes" will take care of directing a competent product... just crazy. And the biggest tragedy is Woody will not replace the guy and try to save the season. Just like they punted 4 snaps into last season. I'm not even pissed I'm just numb to this stupidity and ineptitude. I wanted to believe ARod had the mojo and skill to overcome these idiots and their blind leading the blind insanity... but even HE is powerless trying to play their tic-tac-toe in a chess match plans. 2 straight years just completely forfeited. If JD was smart he would fire Saleh, at minimum demote Hackett, and bring in anyone qualified. Or even just give Ulbrich a shot, or Middleton... Something, anything! Can't believe they fooled me once again.

Definitely. He’s had more than enough of a chance. If they don't make the playoffs, Woody burns it all down and they are all gone, and Rodgers may retire as well. It would be an epic fail and a long rebuilding venture. This team sucks. No two ways about it. They were annihilated by a very good 49’er team. Yea they good but we’re supposed to be good as well. At worst, we play them tough and lose that game. But no! They were embarrassed/humiliated. So many thought Oh we can’t be THAT bad. Guess what? We are even worse, we suck. Next they squeaked out a gifted win from a knucklehead QB, beat up on the worst team in NFL, and got played by Sean Payton and his gunslinger rookie QB. -7 yards in 1st half And they still won the game. An absolutely feeble performance in both sides of the field. If I’m Saleh, I don’t even practice this week. I tell the team FCK you guys and don’t even talk to them. What’s the point. Didn’t a HC do that one time?

Would love to bring Gruden in as HC. Dude is a mastermind and Vrabel as asst HC. He got a raw deal in Tennessee. His teams played hard for him. Love his style and passion. This is just pure insanity.

Can’t argue with any of this.  We really should be 1-3

Spare Will Levi taking stupid pills that would be the case.

Johnson has to know Rodgers isn't happy and the season right now hangs by a thread. Yesterday was completely unacceptable. Game was there to take and this coach pretty much blew it every chance.

Rodgers probably chose the Jets because Saleh is a mush and Rodgers always wants to be the belle of the ball. But now he’s probably like “man, this guy is a complete eunuch.”

I’m late to the party on this thread as I was so pissed off yesterday I couldn’t even think about or read about the Jets. My semi rational thoughts on this game and this year.

1. Payton made the necessary adjustments needed to win at halftime whereas Saleh and the Jets didn’t.

2. How is it possible to not play your 235 pound running back 1st and goal to go from the 1. To the best of my knowledge he still hasn’t gone down on the first hit.

3. Saleh/Hackett/Rodgers seem hell bent on letting the world know that they are going to run on the 1 yard line by bunching all 11 players together inside which of course brings all 11 of the defense in there too. It seems that if they were to spread things out some it would alleviate some of the traffic inside.

4. Nix seemed to have all day to throw in the 2nd half. The Jets had success last week throwing the occasional blitz in. Either they didn’t yesterday or in my blind rage I didn’t see it.

5. The Jets have been out coached in 3 of the 4 games and we are lucky that we aren’t 1-3.

6. Last but not least, you can’t be buddy buddy with the players and not bench players because you don’t want to hurt your relationship with them. This is why I don’t see Saleh ever being an effective HC.

Do you think Aaron Rodgers would play for Mike Vrabel?

Once you start caring about whether one player would play for a certain coach or not is when you are doomed. You hire who you believe is the best coach and any player, Aaron Rodgers included, that doesn’t want to play for him it should be bye bye.
