gg Posted August 19, 2006 Share Posted August 19, 2006 If it makes you feel any better most of New England won't see the Pats game. The NFL has only allowed Channel 5 in Boston to show the game. So if you don't have NFL Network and don't get Channel 5 you are screwed. The stations in Providence, RI and Portland, ME that normally show Pats games were told by the NFL that they couldn't air them. The NFL determined that the local coverage area for Pats games is the Boston Metro market. I'm beginning to not like what the NFL is doing with the NFL Network. our local CBS station is out of new haven...yet it shows the patsies games during the year.. they are closer to NY.. pisses me off!@ and it takes a lot to piss me off..
