Yes I'm very happy and glad that we won 20-17 but who here really thought after letting up 2 straight TD's as easy as we did that we were going to hang on to win that game? If you say you did I really am having a hard time believing you. This defense SUCKS in the 4th quarter, I've never seen a D crumble so many times time and time agian in the 4th quarter. If you want to be a winning franchise, let alone a Super Bowl contender you cannot play like that in the 4th quarter. Period. This team will not see 8-8 if it doesn't improve it's 4th quarter play on defense. Also, I love Justin Miller as a kick returner but as a CB, hell no. It's time to put Barrett back into the starting lineup and have Miller as the Nickel. We need a shutdown corner BADLY as well as of course a NT and a pass rush specialist OLB. That's how Drew Coleman got the last two starts. Miller is a second year player and was a second round pick. I don't think it's realistic to expect him to play like Champ Bailey or DeAngelo Hall at this point. Give him some time and maybe, just maybe a little pass rush and he'll be much improved. There are some people in that front 7 stealing Woody Johnson's money. it isn't the scheme; they don't make any plays. They made Joey Harrington look like Peyton Manning. I'm not sure he was touched much less sacked. Vilma's confused? Well, just maybe do SOMETHING other than stand there like Venus Demilo with stateusque mobility and less of a clue. We have the worst pass rush in the NFL. You can never blame the secondary for playing soft when a team gets no pass rush. Do you guys think Dyson and Miller were gonna risk playing tight man to man on that 4th Q drive, depending on the pass rush to get to the QB? Cmon, its not being realistic. The pass rush is the problem. The secondary is loaded with talent. Get a stronger pass rush, and we'll be much better vs the pass.
