ECURB Posted January 10, 2007 Share Posted January 10, 2007 Obviously some people are mis-reading me as just a flat out "Chad Lover" Listen I love the JETS, and I want the bets player out on the field. Chad is our guy, there is no upgrade out there. So I support our team leader and the face of this franchise, and that makes me crazy? Whats crazy is the thought of bneching a QB who just won 10 games and got into the playoffs after not playing football for almost an entire year. Find me a QB that we can plug into this system and do better than Chad, please by all means and then we can talk about me changing my mind. I am on the same page as Our Coaches, our FO and most JETS fans (yes most do support Chad... walk around the lot and see all the #10's on a game day) you are the miority if you dont want him here. I wont defend him till death, if he is not the best QB on our roster I will vote for the new guy to start. Untill then, its #10 all the way. I'm not sure how many posts have been made on this site over the past couple of years...but my experience on this board would tell me that it is likely a high percentage of those posts bashed Penny in one way or another, I have also noticed that it is not common for a lot of members to defend Chad. If ecurb wants to support the starting QB for his team I don't see the harm....especially when there are so many negative posts that could be defended. We have 1st round and 2 2nd round draft picks along with alomst 30mill to spend on FA'a and those picks... Even when you say something not 150% positive on Chad like "Chad made some mistakes", you have to finish with "the whole team does". It's never, ever Chad's fault, is it?
