Plus, he was a captain last year). -Mangold (Faneca may be obvious choice, but he's still fitting in. Mangold has been a tough, every-down leader on the line for two years). DEFENSE: -Rhodes (He calls the signals in the secondary and runs the film-study sessions. Plus, he's pretty damned good!) -Ellis (Jets' longest-tenured player, and a captain last year. I could see Barton maybe being considered, too. Veteran who still makes plays). SPECIAL TEAMS: -Nugent (Had a pretty good year last year as a captain, and is well-liked). -Bowens (Maybe a surprise here, but he's a stud on ST and his teammates love him).
