It isn't a fine line between ballsy and overt stupidity. I would have called a running play too with Lynch averaging 6.5 YPC. On the post game Jaurons reasoning in was that the Jets wouldn't be expecting a pass and with 2:06 left on the clock an incompletion would have been at the 2 minute mark so the Jets wouldn't have gotten any extra time.
