If we've learned anything about Tanny over the past few years, it's the fact that he's all about doing his due diligence and leaving no stone unturned. I'm sure even he doesn't think it's a realistic option, but with all of the reports about his interest in the Jets and rumors of him perhaps willing to take less to play for them, how could he says he's really doing his job without even making a call? Don't get me wrong, if Tanny thinks he can feasibly pull it off I have no doubt that he'll try to, I just don't think that's realistically possible.
