The first month of the season generally feels like an extension of the preseason as far as the quality of play goes. I’d like to see them avoid division games for a couple/few weeks to open the year. I also don’t want to wait until MNF two years in a row, that just added to the brutality of Rodgers going down last year. Could see them potentially open with a 4 pm Sunday game, though, if they want to get a lot of eyes on Rodgers as a Jet again. -

Yep. He's getting franchise tagged after year 4 and the Jets will offer him a market-matching (not resetting) deal. If he takes it, great. If not, they'll tag him a second time and let him walk in year 7. They're not currently looking for his replacement, because they've got 4 more years of team control; if they were looking to replace him they wouldn't be drafting guys in the 5th and 6th, they'd be hitting it earlier (see Carter,, Michael, back when they were looking for a back pre-Breece) -
We have the Rangers and Knicks in the playoffs. The Yankees are doing alright and will probably make the playoffs as well. Will the NY Jets end the drought and join these other teams' success in 2024? It will be a total shame if the Giants (QB issues) are the ones making the playoffs this year and not the Jets, given the fact that we have a better roster and extra hype.
