Found something else on Walter Curry ... website that specializes on 1AA and D2 prospects

Pretty much repeats what I already posted

DE Walter Curry ~ 6' 4"/270 ... Albany State

A phenomenal defensive powerhouse and key anchor of the Golden Rams "Dirty Blue" defense.

Recorded 72 tackles (38 solos), with 22.5 as tackles for loss of 150 yards, and 11 sacks for 95 yards in 12 games during the 2004 season.

Also recorded 15 quarterback hurries, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.

The SIACs Defensive Player of the Year, Curry was named to the 2004 Daktronics All-America Team and the Sheridan Broadcast Network's Black College All-American Team.

He was also named to the D2football.com All-America Team and the Don Hansen Football Gazette All-Southeast Region Team.

He was also named an All-American by the College Sports Report.

Curry recorded 48.5 Sacks during his tenure with the Golden Rams.

This is ridiculous!! ](*,)

I've been gone since early this morning and we only made two effin picks? #-o

I don't know man ... maybe we should institute a ONE HOUR RULE for round seven ... especially considering its the weekend?

I think 2 hours was too long after the 2nd rd ended

definetly makes sense to institute a 1 hour window/rule

nice David McMillan pick hambone! [-X:lol::lol:

vince carter was a down right STEAL people. pairing him next to larry allen and marco rivera...WOW now thats a great guard tandem to work with.

despite vince carter running a bad 40, he also had a dinged up knee. he is an extremely mobile center who was nothing short of dominant in college.

Thanks for the props on McMillan, EB ... You put a little scare into me there 8-[

Wanna see what a STEAL looks like? 8)

Feast your eyes on this!

The NY Jets select small school sensation .. but big, athletic, and physical in stature {i.e. NFL Package}

6' 1" - 220 Pounds ... and one hell of a running back

RB Derrick Wimbush ~ Fort Valley State

derrick_wimbush_fvsu.jpg2005%20act%20wimbush%20derrick.jpg

HULA BOWL Notes {DraftDaddy/Riggo}

RB Derrick Wimbush from tiny Fort Valley State was the West's biggest star Saturday, running for 74 yards on just 4 attempts, with a long TD scamper included.

Wimbush also had a terrific week of practice, leading up to the game. He definitely impressed NFL scouts, who love his athletic ability. Could be an ideal Day 2 type pick, with so much talent at RB in this draft.

More notes from DraftDaddy/Riggo on the Hula Bowl workouts

Inside the league...RUNNING BACK: Despite Tuesday

I think I'm the only one who drafted a fullback, and that was in the 7th. They're like the water in Tijuana, eh?

But, the Lions do need a replacement for Sledge, and why not get one?

Well if Terry Bradway participated in this mock draft your FB would have been long gone ... TB would have tabbed him in the 3rd RD #-o

The NY Jets select

Defensive MVP of the Cactus Bowl and perhaps the most decorated player in D2 over the past two years

DT Keyonta Marshall ~ Grand Valley State ... 6' 1" - 320 Pounds p-keyonta_marshall.jpg

a-marshall.jpg2005%20act%20marshall%20keyonta.jpg95787.jpeg

Widely heralded as the most dominant DT in D2 ... as both a run-stuffer and a penetrator/pass-rusher from the inside

2004 American Football Coaches Association Division II Coaches first-team All-American.

Tallied 66 total tackles, inlcuding 25 tackles for loss (-67) and six QB sacks (-31) as Grand Valley State finished 10-3 and advanced to the NCAA DII Northwest Regional final.

Marshall, who was a three-time GLIAC Defensive Lineman of the Year and a three-time First-Team All-GLIAC honoree, is Grand Valley State's first-ever, three-time All-American.

Keyonta Marshall, Grand Valley States three-time all-american defensive tackle, was named the Defensive MVP of the Cactus Bowl.

Marshall tallied seven tackles, including two tackles for loss and played in the West's offensive backfield for much of the game.

Grand Valley State's Keyonta Marshall was named the Defensive MVP as he harrassed West quarterbacks all night, picking up seven tackles, including two for loss.

Grand Valley State's Keyonta Marshall is a D1 transfer who has been one of D2's best players at any position.

PS. We've already agreed in principal with a few very studly UDFA's ... so our work is done

New England Patriots

1. OLB Justin Tuck

2. WR Vincent Jackson

4. LB Alfred Fincher

5. RB Darren Sproles

6. OG Claude Terrell

7. OC Ben Wilkerson

A bit of a strange draft but every one of those is a guy I like a lot, even if some are awkward fits on the current roster because they are at positions of depth (Tuck, Sproles) and others would be accounted reaches (Tuck, Jackson, Fincher) by some.

One thing you notice about Belichick and Pioli, they go for "their guys". I decided to try and do the same.

Love getting Terrell and Wilkerson right at the tail end of the draft. Cheap, low cost OL depth, exactly the way the Patriots like it.
