Harris and Scott cannot cover those two tightends which leaves Woodhead, Faulk, Edelman or Branch as a extra weapon. And either Faulk or Woodhead could stay back chip off and run a route giving Brady enough time to throw, or they could stay back and pass protect. Either way Tom wins that matchup everytime. If Chad has a breakout game, and gets going on stretches early .. then how will he be defended and who will man against him? And the Julian Edleman talk as of late, pretty much an extremely elusive quick type of Slot WR, kind of similar to a young Wes Welker or Danny Woodhead. If he gets going and involved early then how we he be defended against as well. So your hope rests on resurrection on Ochocinco and Edelman who between them combined are well under 200 yards of receiving half way through the season and that too against one of the better passing defenses in the league ? So it really doesn't matter what names you throw out as you hope these guys decide to have career games against one of the league's top pass defense. All you'll have is five guys, tops, running patterns. Against those five, the Jets will mix and match Revis, Cromartie, Wilson, Strickland, Leonhard, Smith, Harris, and Scott. Maybe Pace will get another int, too. Of course, I imagine they're all scared to death of Ocho, Woodhead, and Edelman. Only five?!?!
