THE ILK
Oh and Joe Klecko's son is in that group picture as well. Although since he is a minor, I will respect his privacy. Is his name Brod?
#27TheDominator
It took me 2 weeks to learn how to ban spammers. Im pretty sure if i tried to change anything this whole site would go crashing to the ground. Do it! Do it!
Jet27
That is right, yet another in the long line of JetNation pancake threads. But this one is different because I will not be talking about maple syrup in this one. Instead I want to brag about my boy... He is entering his senior year of high school. He is the team captain and he didn't start playing the sport until he was a Sophomore. Anyhow he had a scrimmage today in Newark. The other team ran all of 5 passing plays and he had a sack. He starts at Defensive End. He also starts at Center and that is where the pancake came in. On a running play, he drove the Nose Tackle back about 20 yards. He held the block and pancaked the kid while they were about 20 yards away from the ball. The coaches were yelling...that is the way you block. That is the way to finish. It was pretty cool. He is quoted in this article, the program he is in is in the process of turning it around. They have won 4 games the past two years, and that might not sound like much but I think they were win-less for a few years before that. Hoping for a great season this year. Here he is from a photo shoot this past Sunday at Wall High School in NJ. This was for the all-shore preview that is coming out soon. Sorry for the slightly off-topic thread. But what can I say, I am pretty damn proud of this kid. Very Very Cool.....with that said, my 17 year old son is 6' 4" and 215 lbs. he was a TE but he has decided to give up FB to concentrate on baseball. He hits the snot out of the ball...can't wait to see him in his senior year. Anyway good luck!!!

Here is a short (1 minute) video where his coach mentions Shane. http://www.app.com/article/20120906/NJSPORTS0110/309060015/0/special/Mater-Dei-Q-coach-Steve-Sciarappa
slats
This is the first time I'm opening this thread because I thought it really was about pancakes, and I'm trying to cut down on my carbs. Very, very cool, Phil. Good luck to your son this year! If this is a mod thing, I guess I'll have to start a thread about my 6' 150lb son, and his Call of Duty expertise or something... Maxman
Season is off to a rough start, two TOUGH losses. A friend of mine just texted me and told me to check the school website. This was the front news announcement: SULLIVAN '13 NAMED ONE OF JERSEY'S BEST SHORE LINEMEN BY JERSEY SPORTING NEWS Senior Shane Sullivan is the first Seraph to make the Jersey Sporting News players to watch. Shane is an All-Division, three-year returning starter on the offensive/defensive line. Congratulations Shane! First ever from his school to make it? Wow.
