124
Oh there better be. If Mo & Marvin were honored, Wayne most definitely will be.

Green DNA
Hopefully people will stay in their seats at halftime when they do the honors. Most people run out to take a whiz, smoke a butt or buy a beer. The place was half empty for the Sack Exchange and the Mo and Marvin ceremonies. faba
I am sure the Jets will do a ceremony to honor Wayne and his accomplishments- maybe that he is retiring I will see him around NJ -Colts Neck is 10 or so minutes from where I live
TaborJet
There definately should be some sort of tribute for #80. Are the Jets playing Dallas next year? I don't think they are, but how fitting to have the ceremony for Wayne when Keyshawn is in the house. I'm all for retiring his number as well. I can't see another Jet wearing #80. PatsFanTX
Im betting there will be and I am putting in my notice here: It will be the Jets home opener next year. You don't want to wait until later in the season. A Wayne Chrebet tribute when the Jets are 2-12 would really suck.
nj meadowlands
I don't really see how you can retire #80... but I agree I couldn't see another guy wearing it either
RSJ
I will definitly try to make it to the game if they do honor him. He was one of my favorite Jets of all time. I was a little down on him becaue I thought he should have hung it up earlier. But you could understand someone in his shoes having a tough time giving up such a great job. If you could only have 53 Wayne Chrebets on a team.
Fin Fan In Cali
I hope they do honor him. He had a huge heart, and hurt the Dolphins over the years. I hope he has a great retirement and doesn't have any problems with the concusions that he sustained. He is a class act.
Brenjetsfan
they better retire #88 before 80.. Toons number has been cursed....no one should be wearing it they all suck since Al retired! RETIRE 88 then 80 8)
Bocajetfan
Tix's might be hard to come by if it happens (and it should). Sounds like a great road trip for South Florida Fan's
