I don't get it. Is this a wild fire? I would get it if it were a dumpster fire, but what's being intimated here?

It's a brush fire and nothing spreads quicker than a brush fire. Or some athlete being called gay .

While Tinstar's explanation is noble in its attempt, it was a play on the ACTUAL British meaning of the same word used in "slang" to describe a male homo-sexual:

fag·ot
ˈfaɡət/
noun
  1. a bundle of sticks or twigs bound together as fuel.
    • a bundle of iron rods bound together for reheating, welding, and hammering into bars.

*Note the "offensive" slang term is spelled with 2 "g"s. Ah . . . the lessons learnt in NYC middle school back in the early 90's. :-)

Here's a more accurate picture before enflaming such bound twigs & sticks:

Sorry, spelled it wrong.

Norsemen refers to the group of people who spoke what is now called the Old Norse language between the 8th and 11th centuries. The language belongs to the North Germanic branch of the Indo-European languages, and is the earlier form of modern Scandinavian languages.

Vikings. At least that's what your avitar looks like.

I know, just messin with ya.  My mom traced our family to Norway only 50 miles south of the arctic circle.  No wonder I don't mind the cold, lol

she visited there a few years ago.  All the villagers walk with spears to keep the bears away.  I would love to live there

I hope she went when the Northern Lights were flashing thru the nightime sky.

I've been to Finland and North of St. Petersburg Russia. In the summer, the suns up 23 hours a day(and I'm a light sleeper)

A little early if you talking first round  but not a reach since most of the top 25 players are in the Defensive Line. At number 20 is not bad since he showed speed and has size. We do need a CB and after the first two in Ramsey and Hargreaves who should go in the top 12. The player that I am really like and is moving up rapidly is in fact Apples teammate in Darren Lee. I love fast outside Linebackers and right now he moved up to number 1 since Jack is coming back from injury and Smith is recovering from injury. We also need an OLB especially someone who is all over the field making plays.
