We interrupt this broadcast with Breaking News from the Vought News Network...

 

VNN's journalists have learned that a plane carrying the mayor of Baltimore crashed over the Atlantic Ocean last night. All passengers, including the mayor and his son, are presumed dead. The plane's wreckage indicates an engine explosion, which was definitely not caused by laser beams shot out of a superhero's eyes. The mayor was in New York over the weekend meeting with Vought International's VP of Hero Management, Madelyn Stillwell, presumably to negotiate the the assignment of one of Vought's superheroes to the protection of Baltimore. The mayor is rumored to have been driving a hard negotiation, perhaps even threatening Stillwell with the release of information that would be detrimental to Vought's ongoing efforts to get The Seven into the military where they are so desperately needed to aid in the combat in Syria. I bet the Mayor wishes a Vought hero like Homelander had been escorting his plane safely back to Baltimore last night.

 

In other, more lighthearted, news, the race is officially set this week between the world's fastest man, A-Train of The Seven, and an up and comer challenging for the throne. The city is buzzing with anticipation about the race, and the other members of The Seven are expected to be in attendance to cheer on their teammate and promote the recently green-lit superhero team-up movie "The Dawn of The Seven", called by some in the industry the most ambitious entry yet into the Vought Cinematic Universe. Might we see the public return of Translucent, who Vought International has stated is on a top secret mission battling MS-13 and has not been seen (pun intended) in the city in weeks? Stay tuned..

It's Wednesday, seems pretty solid to me.

I'll admit it was hard to unvote 80. A lot of inner turmoil and self doubt. But I decided to take the plunge and deal with the self loathing at a later time.
