The Cardinals Built the Proper way

Totally agreed. We should absolutely use the first overall pick on Spencer Rattler next year. That’s how you build a team, baby. Stacking QBs high like sandbags.

There are 100 roads to a ring. 90 of them start with a good QB. Hitting on a QB is the individual thing that most boosts your team's probability of success. So while I appreciate your wit, you actually make the right point. Keep swinging until you hit. Once you are reasonably certain your highly-drafted QB isn't the guy, try again with a high pick. And even if you are positive you have the guy -- and certainly if jury is still out -- keep taking swings in later rounds or on cheap reclamation project vets (e.g., Tannehill/Trubisky/Minshew). In today's NFL teams should take a QB flier every year even if they have prime Brady on the roster.

Hell, Brady himself was a flier when Pats had a 28-year-old, 3x Pro Bowler Bledsoe on the roster. Revisionists may say Brady wasn't a flier, Pats were looking to move on from Bledsoe after a lackluster couple seasons. They are giving Belichick too much credit. If the plan was to replace Bledsoe, he wouldn't have waited until the 6th round to do it. If Belichick knew that Brady would become merely a mediocre starting-caliber NFL QB, he wouldn't have waited until the 6th to take him. Brady was just a cheap flier who paid off in a major way. The investment was basically zero and the payoff was legendary. Buy a ticket to the QB lotto every year.

seems to be working well for Tampa and Arizona.....much better then build through draft dolphins and jets

Tampa built a great team first through the draft, then they signed Brady. Arizona drafted a QB and over  a few years slowly acquired some big names to accentuate their drafted talent. Please don’t recycle SAR nonsense.

What key players from the super bowl were drafted by Tampa?

In Arizona your main contributors are FA signings not drafted guys

Stop denying this simple fact

We've been ripping apart the Jets for their 1-4 start, and we're here talking about the Cardinals in Kliff & Kyler's third season. The Cardinals went 5-10-1 in their first year, 8-8 in their second year and now are 6-0....thats why I have been preaching patience here let Saleh & Wilson work through their rookie seasons, learn the landscape of being a HC and a NFL QB.
