I would laugh my a$$ off if the Jets trade up to #2 and take Cutler. That would set the franchise back another five years. I don't think Mangini is that stupid to do something that foolish. The numbers I've heard are astronomical. I think he could drop just based on those rumors, if it's true. Could N.O. or the Titans even afford to sign him? I actually heard (Jody Mac on ESPN 1050 today) that he's looking for a signing bonus in the 30 mil range! I'm not sure even the Jets would want to pony up that sort of money up front. Pick up a RB in the late first round, some corners and we are good. If Chad and Patrick muck it up this year, we go for the QB next year.
