He also had really good games vs Miami in '93 & '94. Why he fell off a cliff after that is unknown to me. I remember he was invited to training camp in '98 with Parcells at the helm, but he couldn't handle the grueling practices and quit.

Green Truth
That game in 1996 was brutal, they took a 20-7 lead into the 4th quarter and blew it. The Kotite years. Ugh

We all did after that day- he was an absolute monster that day. Unfortunately that’s was about it.

TBF, Johnny Mitchell flashed a lot more than just that game. His first 2 seasons set the expectation for a HoF level career and he fell apart. It's mostly on him but one has to wonder what kind of career he would have had if he played for Parcels and not Kotitte.

slimjasi
that 2015 game still pisses me off Marshall and that stupid lateral. We were 2-0 and they were 0-2. Also, the no show loss in 2011 was really the beginning of the end of the Rex regime. And that BRUTAL loss in 93 - Boomer with the backbreaking pick 6 to Eric Allen - Legend has it he's still running
y2k8
The last time the Jets played the Eagles they received the opening kickoff and scored 3 TDs on their first three possessions. And when they started their fourth possession, the Jets trailed 21-18. Only the Jets.

Two missed extra points and a non-competitive defense to start the game (it's amazing how bad the defense was in 2021) That was probably Zach's third best game as a rookie behind Tennessee and Tampa Bay.
