neckdemon
Going by the numbers he should win this. 2nd for rbs in all purpose yds behind only McCaffrey? Behind this oline? On this sh*t offense? 1
PS17
It’s such a weird award. Did the player come back from injury? Did the player come back from mediocrity? Did the player come back from old age/retirement? Did the player come back from death? No one knows.

Warfish
Nope. To come back, you had to be there to start with. Hall, sadly, had not yet arrived. He was starting to, but wasn't there yet. No need to force a square peg into a round hole, Hall had a great (net) year, despite misuse by the Jets. That's to be applauded, and his future to be looked forward to. But no need for him to win this award.

Jigsaw89
This award was already given to Damar Hamlin prior to his 17 snaps in 2023.
Jetsfan80
It’s Hamlin or Flacco and Breece isn’t even a top 10 candidate if Vegas is right. Hell, Rodgers is getting better odds than Breece just for returning to practice, lmao.
bla bla bla
Brock Purdy off Tommy John, Tua off his season ending concussions, and Breece with 1,500 yards and 9 TDs should be placed above Flacco and Hamlin. I get the "he died on the field twice" line for Hamlin. He's a 1 of 1 case for the NFL, but cardiac arrest is relatively common in young athletes (23k per year per defitech). There is a 90% chance of success when using an AED within 3 mins of your heart stopping. Basically, my stance is Hamlin is getting the award because the NFL dodged a massive bullet by him surviving even though he's been hot garbage and active for 3 games. Warfish
1 hour ago, More Cowbell said: Comeback player of the year will be Hamlin 17 snaps shouldn't be enough. He's not really back and didn't really contribute anything. It's a great story, and I think everyone's glad (esp. the NFL above all else) that he didn't die on the field, but I'd also say the NFL doesn't want/shouldn't want to highlight that a player almost died on-field live on TV. It's a bad look for the NFL, no matter how heartwarming the "he played again" story might be for some. It should be Flacco. Nice, boring, appropriate, non-controversial.
