Joe Douglas will be trading a mid round pick in season to get a safety.

That position group is week and thin.   Not sure why the Jets did no make a better effort at addressing it.

One of the big improvements JJ needed to make going into year 2 was his get-off time.

Same for McDonald who had a subpar get off @ .94 seconds if I recall correctly.  Huff was #6 this past year at .75 seconds.

.1 seconds or more is a BIG difference, especially for a speed rusher lined up ‘wide’ like McDonald.  If he doesn’t improve this substantially, the Jets should move him closer to the outside shoulder of the OT.

On the Offensive side, Corley seems to have an elite get off that jumps off his tape.  Will help immensely as he transitions to more press coverage.

The key analysis some scouts miss is his agility for a man his size.  By itself, it’s not elite.  But you can see that quick jump step and surprising cutting ability on tape.

Pick your poison trying to tackle him.

- square those shoulders and get low ready for his power, instead getting his agility

- or play his agility and get run over

I like how Saleh was in his press conference today. I know it's just the 1st day but he seemed to be, idk, just more - chill. And vague but direct with his responses. Making it a point not to throw any of those absurd quotes around or give too much.

Could you imagine the relief of not having to answer questions about the 4th Hanson brother being a QB on your team? Saleh has been set free. It’s a whole new world for young Bobby now
