Each of us has plenty of posts here. Not sure where you're going with this. As far as I'm concerned I'm not really involved and it's not my business to intervene. isired Posted June 30, 2005 Share Posted June 30, 2005 you know, it was kind of weird this year w/ the marty lyons charity thing, they only got like half as much $$ as last year, and everyone was like "come on, why are we falling short? it's embarassing!". i don't believe that i'm the only one that realized that many of the people here are the ones who were 'hardcore' users (like half of the top 10 posters over there, still, even after not posting for months) that donated more regularly to things like that, but not a single person mentioned it. i know i didn't. it's just not worth all the bs you'd encounter by mentioning it. kind of a bad vibe to project if you ask me, though i'll admit there's still plenty to like over there. Max and I don't get paid from this. We don't solicit money. We do this as a hobby to dick around. So, IMO, this competition angle rings hollow for me. Please, check out JI. Human nature excludes such possibilities. I don't know the whole story of what went on and don't know anyone involved so well as to "recommend" to them how to solve it. The whole thing is between just a few people. If any of these folks want my advice or help, again for what it may be worth, I'm more than willing. Until then I'll just stay out of it and respect the fact that people have their differences and it's up to them to solve them, or not.
