Parity has hit the big east just like every other conference. They could still easily send 2 teams to the BCS.

Really?

Not if they keep knocking each other off.

USF has Rutgers, Cincy and suprising UCONN back-to-back-to back before taken on Louisville late.

Cincy has Louisville this week before facing USF, UCONN and WVU back-to-back-to back in a few weeks.

UCONN Is going to be 6-6. Cupcakes are done.

WVU is their best chance, but they can not afford to lose any more. They have a good Miss St in two weeks then Rutgers, Lousiville and Cincy.

Big Least needs a dominant team.

No conference in America has a dominant team except for MAYBE LSU and they barely beat Florida. The gaps between these teams are TINY and they have to fill those BCS spots.

True.

If WVU runs the table they might get in, but I do not see USF and Cincy running the table with so many big games left. Great stories, but once the lose they drop for another more established one loss program.

However, the way the last two weeks have went, BC has gone from mid-teens to top 5.

  • 2 weeks later...
A 2 loss Big East team would not sniff the BCS.

Nor should they be able to. A 1 loss team deserves to make it only because it wins the conference. Other than that, a Big Least team should not be allowed. There are too many better teams in better, tougher conferences.
