David Garrard is an ECU alum however, as is Aundrae Allison, who you may remember returned a kick for a 103 yd TD run for the Vikes last year. Did a search for East Carolina alums, turns out a Lamont Burns was drafted by the Jets in 1997 or '98 one the other, played Guard and Center. That's probably the last good football player since Vince Lombardi. But that's a big enough name to let us get by without any big name football players.
