Matt39
11-0 Yanks. Nice weekend sweep for the Yanks. 4 in a row, building momentum...things are certianly looking up. But how the hell do you hurt yourself running? Friggin Wang.
Bob
Friggin Wang. No. Friggin' National League.
Matt39
No. Friggin' National League. There's no excuses that a profesional athlete in his mid 20's cant run the bases without getting hurt. Running the bases isnt exactly a stress on the body.

Lil Bit Special
DH rule sucks. you play in the field, you bat. Plus there is little strategy when you dont have to worry about the pitchers spot. No wonder Torre did so well in the AL... no strategy needed. Maybe Willie needs to manage in the AL. Congrats on the sweep.
Maxman
An Ace wouldn't hurt his foot running the bases. Wang is no ace.

anskyruben
Does Japan use a DH? Wang is not Japanese, he is from taiwan. That being said, he should be in good enough shape to run the bases. I can hurt myself running to the fridge, but that's to be expected.
DaBrick Wall
Why is no one blaming that clueless moron Bobby Meachem for sending Wang? Pitchers should run station to station. He should be fired right now.

Lil Bit Special
If no strategy is needed why has the AL kicked the crap out of the NL in interleague play the last 4 years? they have better hitters. its not like the leagues are balanced when it comes to talent. AL has more.

Irish Jet
Sucks about Wang getting injured but the Yanks have shown some very positive signs and I'm feeling optimistic. The offense seems to have woken up which is a great sign.

DaBrick Wall
They'll probably give Giese the start. Although if it's a longer injury I'd like to see Alan Horne brought up.

gangreenman
WOW season over? Say it ain't so. I blame Michael Kay and his co-announcer for this. They couldnt stop talking about how Wang was at risk to get hurt or something cause he doesnt play in the NL. Then he pulled up with an ankle injury... Blame the 3rd base coach ? Are you kidding me. I guess Bobby just figured this guy had the ability to RUN. Guess he was wrong. We didn't know he had a styrofoam foot.
