talisaynon
his peripherals were always good. Unfortunately I picked his bounce back to be 2 games earlier than it happened, and it cost me my +7 win streak.
GimmeShelter
Justin Verlander threw a complete game two-hitter in a 1-0 win over the Indians on Friday night. Verlander owes this win to Curtis Granderson, who robbed Grady Sizemore of a game-winning two-run home run in the bottom of the ninth. Aside from that scare, he allowed just a first-inning single to Clete Thomas and a sixth-inning single to Miguel Cabrera all night long, while striking out eleven and walking two. He's allowed just one run over his last three starts and now has an impressive 56/14 K/BB ratio in 44 innings this season.
JetNation
Justin Verlander struck out 11 and outpitched reigning Cy Young Award winner Cliff Lee for the second time in a week, and the Detroit Tigers beat the Cleveland Indians 1-0 Friday night.
