That's definitely something they need to get him to stop doing. Its happened a bunch this year. Too many times he passes up the 1st down to try for a bigger play. Just take what they're giving you if it can move the chains.

In that situation the play is to Jones to get the 1st and get in FG range, not try to pump the defender and hit Keller for an extra few yards.
