JetNation
According to Roto-World Ex-Jets safety Jim “Jimmy” Leonhard has agreed to a one year contract with the Denver Broncos. Leonhard, a fan favorite, was known as the “quarterback” of the secondary but back-to-back season ending injuries (broken leg, knee) made resigning Leonhard difficult. Leonhard told JetNation during an interview that he would be ready for beginning of the season and was open to returning to the Jets but offseason additions safeties LaRon Landry and Yeremiah Bell made a Leonhard’s return less likely. He gave thanks to all the Jets fans via twitter: Thank you to all my fans in NY. I play with my heart and I hope you saw that. I loved the Jets, but all good things must end. — Jim Leonhard (@jimleonhard) August 4, 2012 See the JetNation forum for more on View the full article

Ranick10
Good. Keep him out of the division. Don't need him giving away Rex's secrets.

Irish Jet
Really hope he does well against 30 other teams, was one of my favourites when he was here.

GREENBEAN
Funny... Denver offered him more money to play there in 09 but he chose to stay with Rex. Looks like they finally nap their undersized, slow, season ending injury lovin safety after all. Good luck out there Jim.

jetsjets
I wish him well he seems to be a really good guy. But he was just too small for the PATS TEs, healthy or not.
pointman
I liked the guy, but it was time for us to move on. I love the replacements we have in place. Physical football? Yes please.
Jetcane Redux
Really hope he does well against 30 other teams, was one of my favourites when he was here. Agreed. He reminds me of S Jim Hudson from the 68-69 team. Best of luck to him, and with his luck, he needs well wishes.
