Half should go to Denver's safety

except one has two superbowl wins and the other has 0

Playoff wins are mostly luck, and Flacco actually has more of them.

LMAO so the Jets are simply the most unlucky franchise ever? outside of maybe the Bills?

Not really. The Jets playoff record hasn't been terrible, they just haven't had mediocre teams get lucky in the playoffs like the Giants have.

so instead of "winning the superbowl" teams nowadays just "Get lucky"?

i wonder why the Cardinals, Seahawks, Lions, Chargers, Titans, Bengals and Texans can't get "lucky" while Eli has twice in five years. go figure ;)

it's all part of a healthy anti-Sanchez breakfast. if playoff wins are due to luck then it explains how Mark won 4 of them, on the road.

My posts have to get worse, so they can get better.

The Ryan-Sanchez combo has as many playoff wins as Eli-Caughlin since they took over. Those were two mediocre teams that got hot at the right time.

so you count winning wild card playoff games on the same level as winning a superbowl?

Eli's got rings and that's great and all but he killed Giants fans this season. Eli was brutal, go and look up the boxscores. The Giants were on cruise control to win that division until Eli spit the bit. Losing Hicks was part of it, and the OL was injured (and not good to begin with) but alot of it was on Eli.

He was making awesome throws his Super Bowl year, saving their bacon, this year he was hot garbage down the stretch. There was 1 game early in the year where he went bananas for 5 TD. but most of the time he was hurting his team.

. As soon as you have good players they want money.

Luckily as soon as they fall off to uncomfortable levels you can just cut them most of the time.

you don't "luck" into 2 SB wins

blame the Giants HORRIBLE defense and lack of a pass rush most of the year

Funny how just a year ago the "Sanchez won 4 road playoff games" blowhards were saying how much better he was than Flacco or Ryan.
Wait till Ryan Mallet takes over for Brady. This place will go nuts when he makes all pro.

And the refs that don't call blatant pass interference that goes for a pick six.

but this thread does illustrate the dangers of success. As soon as you have good players they want money. Who'd a thunk it. The Ravens mistake was not sucking more, thus allowing them to cheap out on their under performing players. all this winning, it's bad for the cap.

When its the QB who's looking to get paid big money because of his performance, its a good problem to have. The Ravens lost multiple key pieces on defense this season yet the Flacco-led offense was the biggest reason they're in the Super Bowl right now. He went from an average QB to, perhaps, top 5 status with this playoff run. QB is the one position on the field you're allowed to vastly overpay for.

Meanwhile, we give Sanchez more money and years for sucking, actually had fans saying that was a good decision or the ONLY decision to make, and STILL think QB isn't that important.

sheesh, I'm a doosh.

We won those playoff games despite Sanchez. That 2010 Jets team was the best Jet team of all-time by a lot if you remove QB's from the equation.

Put Favre behind center and we win the division AND the Super Bowl in 2010.

An "Anti-Sanchez Breakfast?" lol. Yeah, because there's a mass conspiracy against him. Poor guy. He's a multi-millionaire who bangs hotties and sucks at his job and people just want to hate!

Sanchez allowed the Steelers to go on a 10 minute drive to start the game. Who knew?
