drdetroit
More like 3 weeks, I was reading about it Girardi... not a fan of how he has used the staff this year. Not a fan of wasting Miller with a 5-run friggin lead?
drdetroit
Refsnyder 4-5 a home run and 4 RBI tonight. Please
BroadwayJoe12
Maybe it's the name Joe. Torre rode Proctor like a rented mule for three straight years. I always wondered if he screamed out F*CK the second he heard that Torre was going to become the new Dodgers' manager.
Jetlife33
Really happy they stuck it out today and hung on for the W. 6 games over .500 sending tanaka out tomorrow. It would be real nice of the Mets to cool down the blue jays. Nice to see Boston 8 (!!!!!) games back of 1st.
chirorob
Not a fan of wasting Miller with a 5-run friggin lead? Seriously, it's like he panics. He's going to kill those 2 before August. Thing is, they can really help in a playoff series, and you can pitch them a lot because of more off days. But not if they're dead 2 months before the playoffs. Jetlife33
Tanaka better take every pitch thrown to him even if they're right down the pipe. Strike out 4 times for all I care. DO NOT GET HURT. Why do you think CC is shot? 2009-2013 Girardi used him like a Mexican cab driver uses a '89 Corolla in Tijuana. Keeping him in games past the 7th inning and/or 100 pitches when we were winning. Betances I'm actually surprised doesn't already need TJ and who knows with miller

Betances I'm actually surprised doesn't already need TJ and who knows with miller CC also got used real hard the 2 years before the Yanks got him as well. Fact is, without PED's, players age normally again. No one setting career highs at the age of 34 any more.

chirorob
Nice tight win for the Yanks. 5 games over .500. CC goes tomorrow. Good win. They need another arm in the bullpen Joe can count on, because he just used Betances to get a long 5 out save.
