Darren Sharper - X factor?

This guy always feasts on young QB's. ELi a few years ago if memory serves.

Sanchez needs to be careful of him...he has instincts like Ed Reed. We cant afford any pick 6's against this offense.

Look, Sanchez is a very smart QB that can read whats in front of him. Not taking credit away from Sharper, he's a very good player and one of the Saints best.

He's a 5 time pro bowler (his last in 07). He's also the leagues active leader in INT's. Anyway, can i have some of what your smoking? Maybe it'll make Sunday get here faster.

Sharper is a hall of famer IMO. However, hes on the down end of his career, thats just the truth. not saying that he doesnt have the ability because its all mental for him now. He simply understands the game. But its not like he's going to give you the best season yet, his best years was the early millenium. As for the active INT's you're right, but again, its week 4 and he got 2 of those INT's from Stafford and the Lions and the other from McNabbs backup. Not to mention is hard as hell to pick off McNabb.

Lets be real here.

Yes, we can be real about it. So you say that his INT's this year mean nothing because they came against inexperienced QB's? So what does that make Sanchez? Give him some credit, he MADE plays on the ball, they weren't just given to him. He has about 57 INT's altogether, so the guy knows what he's doing. Another thing, please do not overrate McNabb, he definitely throws INT's. A starting QB should NEVER get benched for playing awful, which he has done.

I never said that they meant nothing. What I am saying is that Stafford doesnt have the supporting cast like a Sanchez, and Kolb is a back up (pretty good one though). Yes, inexperience has something to do with it but having one of the best O-lines like the Jets can help. having 3 pretty good targets can help too. (cotch, Keller, Stuckey). And to be honest, im not talking about Sanchez, im talking about Sharper. Sanchez is establishing his credibility, Sharper is a Legend.

As for overrating McNabb, your point made no sense. he played horrible at times yes, but he's one of those QB's that simply doesnt throw interceptions...thats all im saying.
