Will Moss be back to New England?

It wouldn't matter in regards to this Patriots offense. The Patriots are stuck with what they have for the time being, or at least until the offseason begins.

This isn't 1998 anymore, where Randy Moss took the league by storm as a rookie WR, with Randall Cunningham leading the way. This isn't 2007, 2008 or 2009 either; where Randy Moss and Tom Brady dominated the league.

It's now 2011, and Randy Moss is currently 34 years old and hasn't played a single down of football this season. It'll take Randy Moss a couple of weeks before he's able to help this Patriots offense. But brining in Moss as of right now, and expecting him to improve this NE offense, would end up doing more harm than good for NE's offensive attack.

Why? Its not like he has to learn the system. Its not like he doesnt know how to play with Tom. They were the greatest combo in the history of the NFL. Its just like Tom said last season, you dont lose Randy Moss and become a better offense.

I think he'd help. Just having him on the LOS changes how you have to play them.

Brady is a pussy under pressure and starts rushing throws even when there's no pressure... Moss won't fix that... They should get him some male hormones, guy gets spooked way too easily

Did you see him take a dive at least twice Sunday? He's so afraid to get hit it's insane.

Brady is no longer the guy who will hang in there until the last second so he can deliver the ball and then take the big hit. That ball ain't getting delivered anymore. He feels pressure and folds like a cheap suit.

You don't bring Randy Moss into your locker room coming off two straight losses while preparing to play your toughest divisional rival.

It has been for the last 3 weeks and on a steady decline since week 1.

Eh. They have been declining, but the offense rolled down the field and took the lead with 1:36 to go. It wasn't the Pats offense that let the Giants walk down the field and score a TD in 1:27. sh*t, they couldn't even hold the Giants to a field goal.

Nevermind the dives, how often does he wig out and chuck the ball when there isn't any real threat.. guy looks scared to take a hit

Very true...but the last time the Pats won, they won on another game winning drive. The D kept them in that game, similar to the way they did for 58 minutes on Sunday. Well, that and Jason Garrett rolled up into a little ball and went into Herm mode.

Yeah Dom, but they were averaging 33 points per game up until Dallas. They haven't scored more than 20 the last three weeks and they needed a last minute drive just to get to 20 against the Giants.

Of course they can turn it around against us. But I wouldn't bank on it. These are two teams currently heading in opposite directions.

If the Jets don't suffer a freak injury in practice this week, they're gonna win big on Sunday.

Yep and then he drives his team for the go ahead score in the 4th quarter with 1:30 left that his teams sh*tty defense cant hold for him. The Difference ? The Pats used to have a defense now they don't. Lets face it no one wants to get hit, and when it gets to the point your getting steamrolled, sometimes that runes you for the entire game Brady is not in this category not by a long shot.

Meh, that offense all but handed the Giants 10 pts with turnovers, and got shut out through almost 4 quarters. Defense sucks of course, but the offense was terrible yesterday

I agree they played bad and Brady certainly has not been himself either but I think when you run the type of offense they do and you run into elite type defenses who can get to the QB they are going to have trouble since they can no longer stretch the field. Not to say the Giants defense is elite, but on any given day they can make it real hard for a QB to get in rhythm with their pass rush. Moss would bring back that capability to stretch the field but even then if you cant protect the QB you will probably run into issues at some point.

You know what else Chan , when the defense is playing good for the Pats no one talks about Brady because they are too busy kissing his a$$ with the team winning. They kissed his a$$ all last year and rightfully so but then they ran into the Jets defense and got their asses handed to them. But no matter how soundly you beat them during 3.5 quarters that bitch Brady always seems to scare ya at the end.

Oh I fully agree that they are struggling a bit, but when struggling is 20 points and the big downward trend you are talking about comprises the only games that they failed to score 30 I think their O is doing okay. They will need to make some adjustments and they are dealing with Hernandez being dinged up. Sure they didn't put up many points on Sunday, but they reversed the downward trend in yardage.

As for Sunday, I wouldn't predict the Jets big. You want to talk about struggling offenses? The Jets offense can struggle when it is manhandling the other team. See the first half on Sunday.
