CTM
I have the giants +8.5.. and i just realized that because of the new OT rules, OT is no longer a guaranteed win for teams getting between 7 and
PatriotReign37
Bad play calling. Here come the Giants for the win.
Bleedin Green
So if you're Giants, if this drive doens't start off really hot, how long do you go before you just play for OT?
Bleedin Green
Bad play calling. Here come the Giants for the win. I thought the same as that drive ended, but a hell of a punt changing field position and not a lot of time against a very good D. Good chance this one goes to OT. Bleedin Green
That was nearly a game-winning catch there. Instead we're looking at OT.
Bleedin Green
Honestly, part of me was wondering if the Giants would be thinking about going for it. They're close to FG range and with so little time left, if you don't get it, are you really worried about the 49ers doing anything? Can't blame them for not, but certainly could have seen it as a possibility.
Bleedin Green
With that crappy punt maybe they should have gone for it.
SMC
No way, Bleedin. Giamts would be a long Davis reception from losing game.

Bleedin Green
No way, Bleedin. Giamts would be a long Davis reception from losing game. Instead now they're just a slightly longer Davis reception from losing the game.

Bleedin Green
For a second there I really thought Alex Smith was going to get stripped of the ball and the Giants return it for 6.

Bleedin Green
That's the second time two 49ers defenders have kept each other from getting the pick. Eli is a lucky sumbitch.

Matt39
Can the Niners kick a fg here and win now or do they need a TD?
Bleedin Green
From this point on, all OT rules are now back to sudden death right? A 49ers FG wins it here, doesn't it?
BroadwayJoe12
What's this, the third time two niners dbacks have collided?? I mean it's great they always have a safety there on time, but I just don't think I've seen that happen so frequently in a game in a while. Maybe it's because I'm just so used to our safeties trailing three strides behind.
Bleedin Green
Can the Niners kick a fg here and win now or do they need a TD? Pretty sure it just affects the first drive, but as you can see, I just asked the same question.
