Our need is for a FS who has the coverage skills of a corner, especially in a blitz-happy scheme like ours is going to be. If you put Landry and Pryor on the field at the same time they'd concuss each other. The Jets may already have that in Eric Allen. They win 3 SBs and then the league discovers that they have this thing with getting video of the other teams practices. Then they do not win one until they are discovered to be deflating footballs and the other team makes the widely accepted worst play call in sports history to hand them a victory. You can say this for the Pats. They get there. But how they wind up winning is another story. They could have been the second coming of the Buffalo Bills if not for their gift for finagling. Obrien2Toon Posted February 12, 2015 Share Posted February 12, 2015 Why was Pryor considered a FS coming out of college. His "supposed" style of play says he's a SS. Actually he doesn't look either part, too small for SS, and too slow and unathletic for FS. I know what his measurables were, but on the field he doesn't look as big or as fast as they say he is. Calvin Pryor sucks. Slow and basically a glorified Eric Smith no wonder Rex wanted him over Clinton Dix and Cooks.
