Ridley is a waste of a roster space. Jets RB Zac Stacy has been diagnosed with a broken right ankle, and is done for the season. Stacy suffered the injury on an ill-advised kick return to end the first half of Thursday's loss to the Bills. Stacy had been operating as the Jets' No. 2 running back/passing-down specialist in the absence of Bilal Powell, but was receiving very limited touches. I am fully aware. On the practice squad means available to poach. They will have a slot on the active roster. Those are the guys I would expect them to consider. It will be interesting how they handle safety going into next year. Pryor and Gilchrist should be here. They have two guys on IR that would be on roster that are FAs. They have 3 younger guys that should be under contract in Bailey, Miles and Martin that should be in competition for a job and are under contract. There are tons of good backs you can get in later rounds, happens each year except the jets seem to prefer long shots elsewhere. At that point up to now our running game has really struggled. This guy's blocking appeared to make a big difference. Lets get him back, we have 3 RBs with Powell hopefully back, and perhaps Prior back at safety and maybe we can get back to the way we were playing the 1st 5 games. Then we try to make a run here.
