Is anybody making the trip to Heinz Field this weekend? I am going but have never been before. Looking for other Jet fans or suggestions for tailgating. We are staying across the river and riding the ferry to the game.

I'm not to worried about finding good night life Saturday but lost for tailgate plans Sunday. Don't need a half page of why waste your time yada yada yada and etc.                                            Any and all help is greatly appreciated so thanks in advance!

GO JETS!!

went there for championship game.  just went to bar before game within walking distant.  it was actually a good time.  then went to casino after game and lost money.  good times

So there is a bar within walking distance, great news. Thanks! Now I know I don't have to drag a cooler on the boat across the river.

Could be a long weekend.

My advice is to drink heavily.

I went to a game there 4 years ago. Don't go to a bar, the tailgate experience is awesome there. Buy a cheap cooler, bring your booze, grab subs from Primanti Bros, and consider the lost 20 dollar cooler a cost of doing business.

Went to AFCCG there.  My advice is do NOT lean forward in your seat, or when you stand up to cheer.  You will get whacked in the mouth by a towel from the guy in front of you.  Guaranteed.

Really welcoming, passionate fans.  Cool city too.

I'll be there.  No tailgate planned though.  As of now, just gonna go to brunch in the AM then the game.  Got tickets through a family connection, sitting upper deck, but 50 yard line.

The upper deck there really isn't bad.

Tailgating there in a bar is kind of cool. Hang out....stay inside and then walk to the game. A different experience but pretty cool.

Will they have Grey Poupon at the brunch ?

I was thinking of going. Have an old friend who is a steelers nut who've taken to jets steelers in the meadowlands a couple times in the past. He offered to return the favor in Pitt but I can't make it happen due to home and work constraints. Enjoy!

I wanted to go was thinking about making it the first RV trip. But its not going to happen, no RV parking in the lots there sucks. But need to get caught up on life.  Have a great time though guys!

I could brake it out, cruise on over to Pittsburgh and have it back in the hanger kinda like Winger and the EM 50. It would be back by Tuesday morning. No one will even notice it's missing. Plus it would solve the JN tailgate dilemma. I promise as JN head of security I will not let ANYBODY use the bathroom.

No thanks. I think I saw that movie already.  C'mon it is Czechoslovakia we zip in and pick them up and zip right out again. Its not like we are going to Moscow. It is Czechoslovakia its like going to Wisconsin.

Pittsburgh, Wisconsin whats the difference. I'm starting to get the feeling that this new title comes with very little authority. If it makes you feel any better Courtney could supervise. Maybe even do a live Jet Nation stream thing so you could feel like you are part of the action.

Sunday at the Seahawks game was the same way. They gave away those white towels. Between the women in front of me and the little kid next to me holy $hit what a pain in the neck. Thank goodness I had my glasses on.

Do you know if they let you bring the cooler over on the river boat?

That I don't. I went in with the "holy walk procession" of fans over the bridge. Was cool because the crowd is enormous and you walk past the Baseball stadium and Clemente monument.
