Are you saying Mcclendon was orally probed by a young Ben? Now, this is some of your better non-sensical dirt digging.

He didnt practice, so he's out". Meanwhile, Robby Anderson who hasnt practiced either and is battling an ankle sprain, is going to give it a go. If we are reaching for conclusions, without facts, yeah.

So, if it isn’t injury and they’re in Week 11 of the season with Darnold regressing to the degree that they have to bench him for multiple weeks, why is Jeremy Bates still employed? Dude had one job, and that’s to cultivate the Jets’ one asset, and this is the result? The inept-ass Browns fired half their coaching staff because Baker Mayfield had one bad start, but we’re hanging onto Jeremy Bates and simply benching the third overall pick as a concession to an OC that literally no one wanted in their organization, and whom will never work in the NFL again after this? Bugg
Wonder if Maccagnan and possibly ownership have seen enough of the offensive stylings of Todd Bowles, and have therefore decreed that rather than get their new star killed in some meaningless late season games, $10 Million Man McCown can take the beating instead. Not saying that makes any sense; Darnold needs all the game snaps he can get, and a sensible coach would run a mess of blocking back/2 TE /max protect schemes to give him some help. These games are little more than exhibitions. But they don't do that. In fact all season Jets run empty backfields when they pass, which is a green light to a decent pass rush. It's one thing to be a bit predictable in play calling, but the Jets take that to a new level. Without looking 1st down is a run between the tackles 80%+ of the time. Doesn't appear (as with defense first Rex Ryan before him) defense-oriented Bowles has any quality control, or if there is such an employee nobody is looking at the data. I get that he wants to run the ball to run the clock and play defense, but simply under the rules of NFL 2018 that is begging to fail. Alas Todd Bowles is not a sensible coach and this is the Jets. Having a son playing prep and then Div 2 I have seen a lot of football the last decade. Can state emphatically the Jets under Bowles are far and away the worst offense I have seen. This team is scared to pass. These are NFL players, you don't run some Pop Warner crap like you're scared to death something might go wrong. Not asking for a post pattern every play, goddamn, throw the ball in the middle of the field and some easy outs to the TES and backs. That's how a young QB learns to break down pass defense. You have to try to do some things against the other team or you are a loser. Jets gonna Jets. Can only conclude ownership doesn't care , because if they did people would be fired already(and I wouldn't even advocate that, simply cannot comprehend how you watch this sheet compared to Rams/Chiefs and not blow a gasket). And further the Johnsons are either to cheap or tapped out such that they cannot go out and get Bill Cowher to be Club President or some other big move. Because if they think all it's gonna take is Charlie Caserly and The Next Geat Coach Search telling them to hire The Next Least Objectionable NFL Career Assistant Coach, yeah, that's not getting it done. themeangreenkillingmachine
if you aren't betting over the -9.5 spread your a fool. this is the easiest sports bet in history. Jets lose by at least 30+.

The Appalachian trail story was very impressive in the interview. Also, mentioned lots of stuff about being tough and giving 110%... At the point now coaching candidates even know what the Johnsons want to hear.

Because even Bowles knows he doesn't get another OC , He's hand picked and fired two another one surely gets him out the door perhaps as a package deal. This is all about Todd Bowles self preservation .
