Adam Gase is stunting Darnold's growth Jets should have stayed with Jeremy Bates.

Gase wants Darnold to play within the structure of the offense. Those last four games Bates figured out Darnold's strengths and had design roll outs to the right and left. Loggains slipped up and revealed they trying to curb those tendencies. Darnold is being turned into a checkdown scared of his shadow Tannehill clone. This is going to be a long year and probably end in Gase unceremoniously being fired because of Darnold's regression.

Darnold was FAR BETTER when he rolled out and moved in the pocket. Gase better make the adjustment because I don't see that he is an "offensive genius" when he really had his best success with a veteran Peyton Manning and got Jay Cutler to cut down on his ints, but other than that I see no evidence of this genius.

We literally lost because our kicker cost us 4 points.

He makes the field goal and the Bills lose.

No, we didn't. We scored on a 2 pt conversion LITERALLY making the missed PAT meaningless.  We forced 4 TOs and got a safety yet our O only scored 8 points the entire day-. That is why we lost.

The K looks terrible and that needs to be addressed but we didn't lose because of the K yesterday.

We lost because Leonard Williams, Jamal Adams, and the defense where Maccagnan poured 80% of the team’s resources over the past five years allowed a quarterback who literally can’t throw straight to walk allllllllllllll the way down the field twice when the game was on the line.

Once macc's acquisition of Mosely left the game it completely changed but the O needed to step up and they failed. The D did all they could for most of the game and the O didn't show up.  We lost mostly because of the offense.

Dude, we have studs on this team. Darnold, Bell, Osemele, Mosely, Adams, Maye, Herndon, Robby, Enunwa, and eventually Kalil. If this isn't playoff talent idk what is. No one has probowlers at every position.

So far from what I see Kalil should have stayed on the couch.  Joe is off to a terrific  start, signing a washed up C and a kicker that was a throw away for another team who didn't  even show well in preseason. How are all those stud TE's he signed doing? Maybe if one could block Sam may have gotten a pass down field.

Actually they ran the ball down the field but you are correct, the D collapsed

Here is why we lost. 41 passes to 17 run ratio against the best pass D in the league. WTF was Gase thinking. On top of it, Bell was running well and getting a feel for the OL it seemed and was making players miss with jump cuts. We should have passed 10 times less and gotten at least 8 more running plays with the lead we had. I like the aggressive style of throwing and trying to score but we didn't  need to be aggressive,  we needed to grind this D down.
