You guys can keep pretending it was a thumb last year...Or more importantly that the thumb last year and the leg this year had nothing to do with him about to turn 40. The Tackle situation was/is a disaster and it's what ultimately got him injured. If you're playing with an 40 year old QB you better damn sure have him protected. You can make all the excuses you want for the GM, but there are/were a few here that saw this coming... That’s all we needed? What don’t people understand about the idea that we were not going to get that. As people get older, they get a little worse. Reflexes are slower. Recognition is slower. Maybe the first read was the TE over the middle and when he looked to Wilson (to his left) it was too late with the safety coming down? I could see it in his face. he was frozen in fear. Its the only explaination. After 3 snaps I texted my buddy, "Rodgers looks like Zach Wilson out there". You can see in that picture how perfectly executed this play was. The OL cleared that passing lane. The WR is wide open. I couldn't believe how sluggish Rodgers looked.
