I was thinking about what huge Jets fan Matt had to say about how improved Zach Wilson is and I was like, damn, thanks Matt. I didn’t think of it that way. “Old Me” thought that being ranked 31st in passer rating and having your team ranked *dead last* in passing yardage was “bad,” but Matt helped me see the light. I am glad that I provided you this informative video and I hope that you learned a few things from a real analyst.  

If you noticed Roberto's tone of voice with Eisen (Saleh's interview), he sounded like the Rodgers' experiment is a thing of the past.  He talked about him as an inspiration for the team and deferred to Zach Wilson as the QB of the team and undoubtedly the future. 

I will suggest that yourself and Mr. 80 start practicing the skill set below:

"Back up" Andy Dalton 360 yards and two TDs, 0 Int's. Salary in 2023, $1.1 million. He was available. JD decided we were good to go with "back up" Sack Wilson.

That's all fair. My issue is with the juvenile name calling.

For a myriad of reasons, Wilson wasn't getting cut before the season. His dead cap figure is $20,000,000 and his cap hit this year is almost $10,000,000.

Dalton got a 2 year $10,000,000 contract. That seems a bit steep for QB3 but right in line for QB2. So if he's QB2 you now have Zach at $10,000,000 at QB3. Follow? And again, they weren't taking a $20,000,000 dead cap hit.

He's getting 6 mil in cash this year. His total contract over 2 years is 10 mil. But if we could have offered him a one year year at 1.1 mil and have him take it then we really screwed up. Fortunately that's not the case.
