We were on the road on MNF in game 1 so a win was not really in the cards. The defense was manhandled and frankly it looked like men against boys for much of the night. They didn't just beat us they beat us up. August dreamers slandering skeptics then when the Jets don’t live up to those unreasonable summer expectations, fans blaming other fans that their negativity has somehow manifested the poor results on the field. And then finally, near the end of the year, everyone saying it was “obvious” the Jets were pretenders all along and should lose out for draft positioning.
