And dude, just because you choose to go on the internet in the "family room" does not mean that the entirety of the internet is obligated to conform to what you decide is decent. You can't find one single bit of any type of nudity in anything I have ever posted or linked to, go ahead and give it a look, although I wil bet you probably have checked out all my links already a few times.

There is a great tool here that anyone can use to tune out anyone they feel is offensive, or overly boring, and that is the ignore feature, feel free to ignore away, I am sure that will keep you and your family away from the "whore-able" pervs and raincoaters clogging up the internet.

Anyway, there is really nowhere else to go with this arguement, the mods know I am totally cool with whatever they want, I am here as a jets fan. I am not pandering or trying to drum up any business, the links are to free myspace pages, and I am proud of the fact that at 30 I am building a business of my own on my own, if it was my own financial consulting company I would do the same. I'd find myself having to scroll real fast, and not even read their post, if my family was around. It was a minor inconvenience. But lately, it just seems like every thread has soft porn in it. It's not enough to disable avatars or sig pics, because it's people cutting and pasting them. Then responding to them, and on an on.

First of all Joe shouldn't have made a fag joke. That's not cool. I am the one to blame for these pictures though. I assumed that certain people who were offended would just shut off pics under the User CP. Having read your post, I see the other side of it and I will make an effort to make sure that sort of stuff gets toned down. Or at least isolated to threads that can be easily ignored.

Back on topic, SD99 was banned rather quickly. Why was he banned? I don't remember him posting a Jesus picture. He might have but he did start a religious thread which I know I deleted. He only had 8 posts and he came over here with an agenda to promote JI. He was not here to talk Jets football. We had enough drama going on.

The point is that I am a Christian. But we decided to keep that out of the mix. If I see a post here blasting Jesus Christ I am going to lose my mind. I would go on a banning spree. It really doesn't do us any good, since we are a football site. So that is why we keep politics and religion out of the mix. Bernie's name and ip address are not banned currently. He is welcome to post here if he wants to talk football.

The point is, everything I said after that, about having to navigate the MB with other members of my family in the room and what not, is nothing new. I've always had to deal with that, as I'm sure everybody else has, from time to time, at home or at work. I never complained to you or any Mods or too the individual with the kinky pics. Never. The only reason it became a public issue now is because Joe must think he's Larry Flynt, giving me a lecture about censorship and the first amendment.

You know what I think the problem is, Max? The snowball effect-

Somebody makes a kinky 150X150 pixel AVATAR. The monkey see monkey do crowd then uploads a 250X250 pixel kinky sig pic. Then somebody has to trump that with something even more graphic. And it just gets smuttier and smuttier, and nobody wants to say anything because they might be a called a "fag". What it is is when you have a board saturated with graphic images, all it takes is that one more image that breaks the camels back.

I know it's a fine line you guys have to walk.

I just wanted it made clear that I didn't complain to anybody about anything, nor am I trying to change anybody or censor anybody and I resent anyone trying to suggest that I am.
