He did not comment as he left court. A judge did not impose bail, and Edwards is due back in court on Nov. 10. Police said they arrested Edwards after stopping his car at about 5:15 a.m. ET. They alleged he had bloodshot eyes and a blood-alcohol level of .16, twice the legal limit. GM Mike Tannenbaum scolded Edwards in a statement after his arrest. SMC
Anyone who thinks the Jets would trade for Vincent Jackson because of Edwards' DWI is FREAKIN' IMBECILE. Seriously. Vincent Jackson is subject to a 3 game suspension because of violating the conduct policy. Jackson has TWO DUI ARRESTS, and was arrested for driving with a suspended license (which led to his suspension).

slats
Jets aren't trading Edwards. They'll ride him for all he's worth, he'll behave as best as he possibly can, they'll go their separate ways next year, and the Jets will get a comp pick in 2012. Greenranger
He did violate his probation though, so he may be rooming with Plax next year.
