If Weatherford doesn't pin them inside the 5, Taylor doesn't get the safety and Pitt ties the game sending it to OT. So yes he did have a lot to do with winning the game. As far as Spaeth dropping a TD pass, the same can be said of Kellers dropped TD pass, and Smiths dropped 4th down pass. Jetsfan80 Posted December 28, 2010 Share Posted December 28, 2010 Weatherford is great at coffin corners but he is terrible if you're asking him to punt from within our own territory, and especially out of the shadow of his own end zone. Luckily, our offense has been playing well lately and he hasn't been asked to do this.
