Jetsfan80
I, along with Crusher and perhaps a few others, would have taken that deal. http://www.tennessea...ext|FRONTPAGE|s 9:12 AM, Mar. 16, 2012 Andy Humbles The Tennessean Shoney's offers Peyton Manning free pancakes every day as a Titan If Peyton Manning likes pancakes, he has a little extra incentive to sign with the Tennessee Titans. Shoney’s has offered the free agent quarterback and former University of Tennessee star, a free stack of pancakes to sign with the Titans every day through his career in Nashville, according to an advertisement the company placed in The Tennessean on Friday. In white bold letters the ad reads: ‘Peyton, Sign here and Tennessee Would Really Be Stacked,’ over a stack of pancakes. Below the stack of pancakes, the advertisement states ‘Shoney’s CEO David Davoudpour wants to sweeten the deal. Sign with our hometown team and you’ll receive FREE PANCAKES EVERY DAY throughout yourcareer here in Nashville. Let’s Win. And Let’s Eat!’ “Having Manning as a Titan would be good for the fans and good for the community as he is a charitable person with good character,’’ a Shoney’s press release states about the ad. Shoney’s is a Nashville-based company that opened in 1947.

BroadwayJoe12
The whole "for your career" thing just seems a little pathetic. Do they really think Peyton is going to be that frequent of a visitor following his possible tenure with the Titans that he would financially cripple their restaurant?? If you're gonna put water in the tub, ya might as well fill it up; should have said free pancakes forever. None of this unlimited pancakes from IHOP bullsh*t, where you find out you only get the toppings for the first stack and the rest are just plain. Effin commie bastards. Scott Dierking
The Titans seem to be thinking of offering a "future front office position" to entice him as well, which I am sure the NFL will look closely at

BroadwayJoe12
I think you're thinking a bit too far into this. It started off as a joke then kind of spiraled down when I remembered my hatred of that IHOP promotion.
