Stop, this is nonsense, absolute nonsense. We have 3 lineman who could start on many teams.

Kerley could start on a plenty of teams.

Ivory

Holmes could as well.

Stop being nuts.[/quot

I said playoff teams and offensive players Holmes and ivory is starting for who?

Even if it weren't playoff teams, that's 6 guys out of 11, and not including the most important guy (QB), who could simply start on other teams.  Not a glowing endorsement of the roster.

Despite the Richardson/Wilkerson pro-bowl snubs, 0 Pro-Bowlers was kind of accurate.

i dont think richardson was a snub. wilkerson def.

Yes.

Just for starters, look at the Colts O line, we would have three strarters on that line minimum .

And there are many more, your assessment of our roster relative to others is way way off base.

My assessment matches independent sources much better than yours. This is not a good roster. The GM knows it.

  This is a joke right?

Ivory was like a 3rd or 4th stringer on a Team who hasn't really had a legit RB in years.   The fact he couldn't even be a starter among that bunch says all you need to know about him.   And he was an avg running back this season.  He wasn't even as good as Greene was last year, but hey, people like to overlook that because it's all about "hoping" the guy does something.

One of the big reasons he wasn't involved much in New Orleans, besides injuries, is that he is useless in the passing game.   And being the NFL is pretty much a passing league now, it kind of makes him a non starter on most teams.

Ivory ran for like 4.5 ypc behind a pretty putrid O-line.  And the main reason he wasn't higher on the Saints' depth chart is that they used a 1st rounder on Ingram and had acquired Sproles from San Diego as their "space guy".  Not a single Saints fan wanted Ivory to leave the team over Ingram.

The pass-catching knock is legit.  But he's undeniably the best RB on our team and looked like a top 15-20 guy for most of the year.  With how little we've invested at RB over the years (and rightfully so, I don't support burning a 1st on any RB), it's nice to finally get some nice production out of a 4th round trade for Ivory and taking Powell in the 4th.
