sdJETSetter
Exactly..... I agree with Ray Lucas who said in the post game show not only the GM,HC and staff should go but the scouting department and 50% of the players.. A few weeks back, I begrudgingly thought Idzik was going to keep his job. It sickened me, but everyone was saying how "Idzik needs time to impliment his plan.....2 years isnt enough time" Now, i would be much more shocked if he is here after this season. From a football perspective, and not a Jets fans view, i dont see how he can stay. Dont know who Woody looks to in times like this, but it is crucial he receives good, experienced football advice this season. It shouldnt get worse than this year, but even more bad decisions, and it absolutely could.
Miss Lonelyhearts
the Jets paid Korn Ferry six figures to find Idzik. That's scary. All this means is that we know at least one guy was hired by people who know what the **** they're doing, which is probably something that people who like to apportion blame based on ease of fix would do well to keep in mind. He's a general manager, Crozier. It's more than a little dumb to think that firing the guy who occupies a position that doesn't even exist in New England is going to be some kind of panacea. Freemanm
This Limbardi character, what did he do? Rex acknowledged in his presser last night that he probably paid too much attention to Watkins in doubling and that he needed to switch it over from time to time. I fixed that. All I know is that I wanted to relax last night and watch the Jets game with my two-year old son. Now, I feel guilty and like a rotten father, like I just exposed him to porn or something
munchmemory
It is called insanity. When you do something over and over and expect a different result - that is the definition of insanity. What the fuk does that make us fans who have been watching this team for almost 50 years? lol Clinically imbecilic?

What a crock. I'd be willing to bet that there are no people at Korn Ferry that have any front office experience in a sports franchise. They recommended the guy you would expect from Korn Ferry.... a bean counter who can't tell a football player from a sausage. 50+ years of following this team and I've never felt this low, even in the Kotite years. There are maybe 6 players and a couple of secretaries who can stay. Everyone else needs to be gone. Including the owner.

Matt39
Looking back, did Mangini basically tell Woody to stay the **** away from the team(costing him his job...)?
sg3
Looking back, did Mangini basically tell Woody to stay the **** away from the team(costing him his job...)? I think the last straw for Its a Process was him begging and pleading with Tanny to draft the best def player he had ever seen....Vern Gholston That and him also stinking as a HC It's a Process, said the robot
pdxgreen
I honestly don't see why Woody keeps the Jets. I mean every part of the organization is in tatters. If he doesn't look on the mirror and see that he's the problem, he's a bigger moron than I take him for.

ZachEY
It should be noted that the Bills cap figure is 30 million dollars higher than the Jets' cap figure No, it should not be noted. Partially because it's not true, but mostly because there is no correlate between spending and winning. A cursory look at Jason's site would show you that... jgb
Rex quadruple teamed Watkins. Rex remembers when a player torches him and never forgets--Captain Tough Guy will do anything to make sure it doesn't happen again... well we lost but BOYITELLYA WE TAUGHT THAT SAMMY WATKINS YOU CANT PUSH US AROUND! #triedofmoralvictories New coach Rex Ryan showered Sammy Watkins with praise Sunday. Advice: When Rex's Jets faced the Bills in Week 8, Watkins went for 157 yards and a touchdown. The next time they played, Ryan doubled the rookie wideout on every play. "Sammy is a one in every 10-year player that comes down the road," he said. It's clear Watkins will be a featured player for Rex and new OC Greg Roman, but there's plenty of reason for box-score concern. E.J. Manuel and Jeff Tuel are the only quarterbacks on the roster, Roman's track record isn't great with passing games and we know Ryan teams want to ground-n-pound.
